Sarah and Marty,
ReplyDeleteHope u guys r fine
Enjoy ur trip to India
All the places in the itenary are really good
Thiruvannamalai is holy place in South India
Lot of enlightened people born there like Ramana Maharishi, Paramahansa Nithyananda
The temple is really old and very powerful
If u have time go visit all the ashrams there;
There are 4-5 important ashrams apart from Ramana Maharishi ashram
Rishikesh and Haridwar are very holy places, special for Lord shiva
Don’t forget to get a dip in Holy Ganges J
I dunno if u feel awkward bathing in a river , but it may be a good experience J
Lot of temples in Haridwar and Rishikesh, and 100’s of ashrams
Sadhus and yogis all around the city.
Agra of course Taj mahal is architectural wonder , so beautiful u will really admire it
My only advice is to get a lottttt of spiritual books for cheap
What u get here for 20-30$ will be 5 dollars or so in India
So try to buy a lottttttttttttttttt
Happy journey n joy
Love n peace,
Hariharan.R
